Happy Paws Secure Dog Walking Field – Site Rules

Welcome to Our Secure Dog Walking Field!

Our secure dog walking field is designed to give your furry friend the freedom to run, play, and socialise safely. To ensure everyone has a pawsome experience, please follow these simple rules.

Safety First

Before Entering the Field

  • All dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations (including kennel cough)
  • Dogs must be treated for fleas and worms within the last 3 months
  • Bitches in season are not permitted in the field
  • Maximum 2 dogs per booking
  • Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times

Health & Behaviour Requirements

  • Dogs showing signs of illness should not visit the field
  • Aggressive or overly dominant dogs may be asked to leave for everyone’s safety
  • Dogs must be socialised and comfortable around other dogs
  • Owners must remain in the field with their dogs at all times
  • Bring your dog’s medical information in case of emergency

Arrival & Departure

Entering the Field

  • Keep dogs on a lead until safely inside the inner gate
  • Arrive on time for your booking slot

Leaving the Field

  • Give 5 minutes notice before your session ends to gather your dog
  • Check you haven’t left anything behind before leaving

Field Etiquette

During Your Session

  • Clean up after your dog immediately – please bring your own poo bags.
  • There is no poo fairy or bins, please clear up and take home.
  • Supervise your dog at all times – don’t let them out of your sight
  • Please keep noise to a minimum – respect our neighbours
  • No smoking or vaping anywhere on the premises

    Booking Guidelines

    Time Management

    • Arrive within 10 minutes of your booking time
    • Sessions last 30 minutes or 1 hour, unless otherwise booked
    • Late arrivals may have reduced field time to keep the schedule on track
    • 48-hour cancellation notice is required for refunds

    Adverse Weather Policy

    • Services may be cancelled due to severe weather
    • Refunds or rescheduling will be offered for weather cancellations
    • Muddy paws are expected – bring towels for your car!

    Important Notice Regarding Restricted Breeds

    In accordance with the requirements of our insurance policy, we cannot accept bookings from any owner with a dog that is listed under the following legislation:

    This includes, but is not limited to, breeds such as the Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro.

    We appreciate your understanding, as this is a strict condition of our insurance cover. If you are unsure whether your dog is affected, please consult the relevant legislation or your local authority before booking.

    Prohibited Items & Behaviours

    Not Allowed

    • Glass bottles or containers of any kind
    • Alcohol or illegal substances
    • Loud music or speakers
    • Fireworks or loud noises
    • Professional photography without prior permission
    • Commercial dog training without arrangement
    • The flying of drones or any other device without prior consent.

    Prohibited Behaviours

    • Leaving dogs unattended at any time
    • Bringing sick or injured dogs
    • Using harsh training methods or shouting at dogs
    • Allowing children to run around unsupervised
    • Damage to fencing, gates, or facilities

    Pricing & Payment

    Standard Rates

    • 1 Hour Session: £11
    • 30 Minute Session: £7

    Payment Terms

    • Payment is required at the time of booking
    • Cancellations with 48+ hours notice: Full refund
    • No-shows or late cancellations: No refund
    • Damage to property: Additional charges may apply

    Lost Property Policy

    • Happy Paws Dog Field is not responsible for lost items
    • Found items will be held for 30 days
    • Items not claimed will be donated to local animal charities

      Disclaimer

      • All cars are parked at the owner’s risk.
      • The landowners accept no responsibility for injury or damage or loss of dogs, owners or their vehicles whilst at the site.
